Grit Treads & Tape

Both Handi-Treads anti-slip Grit Tape and Grit Treads increase traction on slippery walking surfaces to help to minimize slips and falls both in the work place and at home. 

The Grit Treads are pre-cut 6” deep by 24” wide are perfect for stairs and come in four colors including black, black with a reflective strip, black with a glow-in-the-dark strip, and a luminescent glow-in-the-dark green.

The anti-slip Grit Tape comes in 15 foot rolls in a 2-inch width that can be cut to any size, insuring a custom fit. Available both in glow-in-the-dark green, Handi-Treads Grit Tape is the perfect safety solution in both well-lit and low-lighting conditions.

Both the Grit Tape and Grit Treads feature high-traction silicon carbide grit which is adhered to a strong paper composite substrate.  An aggressive acrylic adhesive on the tape backing provides long-term adhesion to virtually any clean, smooth, non-porous surface including wood, sealed or painted concrete, ceramic tile, steel and more.
